Back at it Again!

Hey guys! It’s Lindsey, with another weekly blog. This week was actually, not that bad. My period was working T.V. Monday, we had the volunteer sign up thing, My group(Mikka and Chanel) cleaned out christmas decorations and the tree, it went pretty well! We also had lunch(Thanks Mr. Shim!) and some 7th graders got “The Outsiders” book. Tuesday, was the first official day back! In our leadership period we did productive things and I think I just read for weekly AR. I also worked the mixer and comp. for T.V! In my other classes it was really fun seeing some of my friends again. I’m also starting to hang out by the basketball court afterschool nowadays, with jasmine and gabe:) Wednesday, we had our orientation performance. I really could’ve done better, but I’m glad we have another one coming up, so I getting ready for that. We took the star math test and I freaking HATE that we have a time limit on each question:/ Thursday, we had orientation practice again. I need to remake some moves, but other than that I just need practice then I’ll do okay(I hope)! Bruh!! During lunch it was sooooo freaking HILARIOUS! Me, Jasmine and Ileana were walking to the bathroom to meet up with our (ig  you could call it) squad (fatima, chloe and gabe) and jasmine had those dorito roll up thing right? So, fatima was walking up to us in a really weird way and she slipped and almost did the splits! Everyone was laughing soo hard and I legit won’t forget that. I also started talking to this new girl, destyn and she’s pretty cool. She also called me “the leader” of our little group, which I honestly at first didn’t think it was true, but that would be pretty cool if I was:) Before practice, I went with them to go visit pohakea and I really do miss that school:( The whole way there was mainly yelling and laughing, but that’s nothing new haha. I frlZ love those guys to death and I’m so grateful to have them in my life! We also signed into our yearbook accounts and I definitely have to check em out once I get home! People got their diva shirts and I’m really regretting not getting one:( Friday, we played kahoot in math and my team(angel, cielle and nalani) won the first round! whoop whoop! I also thought that weekly AR started THIS week, but I found out it starts next week! We also had a star reading test during ela. Today, I went to longs and bought fake nails because a sis highkey really hates her natural nails:(

Highlights and Lowlights. There were many highlights and lowlights that happened this week. One highlight for me was, coming back to school ig. This was a highlight for me because that meant, I get to see all my friends and have something to do for the day:)One lowlight for me was, my orientation performance. This was a lowlight for me because, I felt unprepared and just really uncomfortable while I was doing it.

A lesson I learned this week was, always be ready. This means, to be prepared for ANYTHING at anytime. The reason why I chose this to be my lesson for the week is because, I thought it really matched with what went down this week. If I had been ready during my orientation practice, I would’ve done it way better and felt more confident about it. In the future, I will try to always be ready.
