short week

Hey guys! It’s Lindsey, here with another weekly blog! This week was a SHORT one. My period was  working T.V. Monday, we had no school. I went dress shopping for my sisters birthday, during spring break, which I’m SUPER excited about! Tuesday, we had a LONG broadcast! There was also a  substitute for ss and she was so ANNOYING! Wednesday, we brought things out of Mr.Ing’s car. Me and frances accidentally spillt some tea, LITERALLY! We also had orientation practice this whole week! Thursday, we had a quiz in math and I think I did okay. I played ping pong and took pictures with Ileana and Jasmine and I’d say I’m doing pretty well. We also had an 8th grade graduation meeting during homeroom. Friday, we had no school. I also got mixed up with some drama which was NOT fun:(

Highlights and Lowlights. There were many highlights and lowlights that happened this week. One highlight for me was, helping out in the media center. This was a highlight for me because, it feels good to help around as much as possible. One lowlight for me was, accidentally breaking my teachers things. This was a lowlight for me because, it wasn’t my possession and it was just wrong. 

One lesson I’m in the process of learning is to, be observant with your surroundings. This means to pay attention to where your going and what your doing.The reason why I choose this to be my lesson for the week is because, I thought it really matched with what went on this week. If I had been more observant of my sureoundings, I wouldn’t have knocked over my teachers paper holder and it wouldn’t have broken. In the future, I will learn to be more observant of my surroundings.

Getting Ready.

Hey guys! It’s Lindsey, here with another weekly blog. This week was an interesting one. My period was working music. Monday, we had no school! I went to kamakana with my bestfriend kaylee:) We shopped, played games and ate. I was legit SCREAMING eveytime I lost a game, haha. It was really fun! Tuesday, I started teaching my choreo. I actually liked my choreo and I’m getting excited of orientation coming up! XD. Everytime someone asks me “What time is i?” I would be like “SUMMER TIME”. LOL. Wednesday, we had recognition night. I was working graffiti wall! It went okay! Thursday, It was valentines day. I ended up getting a rose and some candy. I had an issue with music in the morning, which will be explained in a bit. I also took pictures at Mr. Telles. Friday,  we learned jasmines choreo! It’s pretty girly and fun. Today, I went to the paws fors paws fair at campbull, with jasmine and ileana. We played games and walked around. I even won a fish, named gabe!

Highlights and Lowlights. There were many highlights and lowlights that happened this week. One highlight for me was having a 3.8 and going recognition night. This was a highlight for me because, I that meant I had good grades for 2nd quarter. One lowlight for me was, having my walkie off while working. This was a lowlight for me because, it meant nobody could communicate with me, which isn’t a good thing.

A lesson I learned this week was, be prepared and double check your surroundings. Meaning, don’t forgot items and make sure your all set. I choose this to be my lesson for the week because, I thought it really matched with what went on this week. If I had, not forgotten my walkie, then I would’ve been able to communicate with others. In the future, I will be prepared and double check your surroundings.

SPIRIT WEEK!

Hey guys! It’s Lindsey, here with another weekly blog! This week was an okay week. Also, it was SPIRIT WEEK!  Monday, it was sports day! I had found out the day before, I was on the 7-3 side, working with raquel, whoop whoop :))) I wore a normal seattle sea hawks t-shirt, since I couldn’t find any of my other jerseys. I’m gonna be honest, it was lowkey hard waking up earlier than usual for the whole week XD. It wasn’t bad, lines were surprisingly short than I had expected and the job was pretty simple. My dad also cane from vegas! Tuesday, it was neon day! I wore my sisters old jpo shirt and had these nice glasses. OH! I forgot to mention, I got to work scavenger hunt for monday, tuesday and I’m pretty sure wednesday as well. It was fun seeing everyone getting so hyped over finding the items lol. oooooooo, I remember this one girl who kept coming back in line for a wristband but, she would never have her id and it felt SOOO uncomfortable telling her she couldn’t get one and that she had to change back into a uniform, even if I wasn’t the one saying it, it was hard to watch. In my classes, it was a blurr. I DO remember reading a few chapters of the outsiders, listening to lectures etc. Also, I fell twice that day, which really sucked. Wednesday, was sign waving! It was just regular uniforms however:/ I had 8-1 and I was working with shantel:) I wish I got to sign wave with them lol, it just seemed really hyped and fun! I felt bad afterschool, because ileana lost her favorite pendent and we were all looking for it. To “make up for it” jasmine bought us all nuggets and me and harryzen picked it up. A few of them dropped on the way back, so like sorry again guys. Let me just say: People get SOOOO COMPETITIVE! All that “Oh, this team sucked” or “Oh, this team stole our move”, it’s all bs, like it’s spirit week guys! Show some spirit and stay civil, yk. Also, it was the last day for penny wars and I can’t believe how cruel people can get! From the start to end, it was BRUTAL! With, barely ANY pennys for some jars and mainly dollars and silvers for some! .Thursday, it was aloha day! I wore an aloha shirt and a pair of sunglasses! We had synchronized swimming that day and 7-3 was lucky because our teachers performed for us:) All teams definitely made me laugh so hard and Ioved it all! We also started this new canoe project in ss and I’m pretty sure all of 7th grade are doing them, I think. I also learned my teams cheer and received my team shirt. It didn’t look *that* bad, I mean everything was clear and our colors were pretty, but there was a LOT of shade towards them. *cough ileana cough*. Our shirts don’t define who we are and even if 7-3 didn’t win we had fun and showed enough team spirit. Also, I found this SUPER cute bracelet by Mrs. Mili’s door and took more pictures.  Friday, it was team color/shirt day! Also, cheer off and relay race! In my opinion, my teams cheer was CUTE, like the dances and songs! I also wore my team shirt! It was unfortunately not enough to win, but you know what? We tried, we did our best and that’s enough. My period got to help set up for relay race, along with others and it was FUNN. It was honestly EXCITING, yet irritating to watch. Exciting, since everyone was so hyped and everything happened so fast and irritating, since nobody listened to me when I said to not touch the rope, people would wait until I wasn’t looking and touch it again! Like, seriously! I ended my day off at media, getting humiliated once again for liking a certain someone, ifykyk haha. Today, I visited my grandparents at their graves and met a nice dog.

Highlights and Lowlights. There were many highlights and lowlights that happened this week. One highlight for me was, taking pictures at media. This was a highlight for me because, it’s really fun getting pictures around campus and capturing fun memories. One lowlight for me was, losing my planner. This was a lowlight for me because, our planners are really important to us students and without them,  it’s a huge disadvantage.

A lesson I can learn from this week is, to not misplace your items. This means, to keep track of your things and try your best to not lose them. The reason why I choose this to my lesson for the week is because, I thought it really connected to what went on this week. If I had not misplaced my planner, I would’ve had it to keep track of what was due the next day and write what went on. In the future, I will learn to not misplace my items.

Hey guys! It’s Lindsey, here with another weekly blog! This week was an interesting one. My period was working T.V. Monday, I finished my page(finally) and that was a relief, but I was still feeling disappointed and upset that it took me so long to finish it. Also, we have bethany and frances in our class now:))Tuesday, I missed the diva field trip, because I honestly didn’t want to go. It was a good thing tho, since all of my real friends stayed back. While we were waiting for our substitute to give us the work, I painted my friends nails:) I also went to Mr. Telles with savonnah to check out media. I was soooo embarrassed that day, ifykyk;) Wednesday, we played kahoot in english and I got first place a few times! yeet! I also got to vlog in math while we finished worksheets. ss just ain’t the same without alexis tbh:( Thursday, during period 1, I gave my first tour! Also, me and mikka showed bethany and frances how to set up for music. We also had yearbook verification but, I was late because Ms. Scarborough kept the class in, smh. It went okay. I even went back to Mr. Telles afterschool for media to take pictures , with most of the 7th graders lol. Everyone around campus kept asking us for pictures and I was like a photo shoot haha. It was soo fun:) Friday,  there was homeroom rep for spirit week! I’m really excited until then! I was also super sick that day, so that sucked:(I finished 50% of my ar goal last week so I didn’t need to take a test this week, yayy. I went to Mr. Telles class(again) afterschool , to get pictures(again LMAO) I ended up going with harryzen around campus for photos until 3.  We also had fun friday in math, which was good.  So school, was good but, what happened afterwards was honestly terrible... That wraps up my summary paragraph!

Highlights and Lowlights. There were many highlights and lowlights that happened this week. One highlight this week was getting new people in a101. This was a highlight for me because, it means it’s more people that I can get to know/reconnect with. One lowlight this week was messing up with intro. This was a lowlight for me because, intro is one of the most important things while working T.V. and it’s not a good thing when it’s not ready by 7:50. That wraps up my highlights and lowlights paragraph!

A lesson I can learn from this week is, don’t wait till the last minute to finish things. This means, to get things done asap and don’t hold it off to the side, before it’s too late. The reason why I choose this to be my lesson for the week is because, it really comnects to what happened this week. If I had finished intro the day before, it would’ve been done the day of and I wouldn’t be rushing in the morning to get it inside the drive and ready. In the future, I will learn to not wait till the last minute to finish things.That wraps up my lesson paragraph!
