the quarters almost up! along with that, the year! yaa yeet. this quarter was pretty challenging. however, if im being honest it went sorta better than i imagined it to be. surprising right? well its honestly the truth. a lot has happened really. some events we had were, orientation, recognition night, graduation meetings, kindness messages and awards night. orientation was my most FAVORITE thing from this quarter. without a doubt. recognition night was hard yet, fun. i wished my grades wouldve been better but, we cant all be winners right? we had games and food this time, plus the graffiti wall, so that was nice. graduation meetings were okay. even though im not graduating(yet) it could still help me out in the future. i think. kindness messages were good. i like seeing the banner full with positivity considering most of the campus has alot of negative vibes. awards night was great. it felt nice to get recognized for something other than grades. some assignments we had were life lessons and grad slides. life lessons was kinda cool. hearing all those stories honestly put me in my feels and made me think about life on a new perspective. grad slides was pretty iffy. i really shouldve worked harder on the slides and gave more time and effort to help out(more details in the next paragraph)some fun things we did was the street art club field trip and the picnic. the street art club field trip was pretty great. it was my first time looking at murals and they were really cool. some were pretty wack, some were really colorful and all thatt. we also, got to go alamoana then, the beach park! it was peaceful and i got to spend time with some important people! the picnic was a m a z i n g
i could tell everyone had a good time and there were alot of laughs shared. id say im ashamed yet, proud of myself this quarter. made some new friends, got some ones back and cut out some toxic people. i managed to overcome some family troubles and bad memories from the past. my grades are starting to improve for the better, which im pretty proud of. one hand, im so ready to finish off this year but, on the other, i still wanna hold on and make the most of my time as a 7th grader!
highlights and lowlights. there were many highlights and lowlights that happened this quarter. a highlight for me was, orientation. this was a highlight for me because, ever since my very first orientation as a 6th grader, ive always wanted to be apart of it. it might sound wack but, its the truth. so, to take part in it meant so much to me and i honestly had so much fun. not to mention, i was a choreographer:) a lowlight for me was, grad slides. this was a lowlight for me because, i made the mistake of not putting as much effort as everyone else. therefore, myself and the whole class lost a lot because of that. for example, ALL privileges, my vest, my yellows etc.
a lesson i can learn from this quarter could be, put effort and time into whatever is you do in life. meaning, try your hardest and sacrifice time for anything. the reason why i choose this to be my lesson for the quarter is because, i thought it really connected to what went on this quarter. if i had put more effort and time into i wouldnt have run into certain problems. in the future, i will put in effort and time to whatever it is i must do.
